The Yamato office in the UK is moving into another office.
The existing premesis will close on Thursday the 6 May 2010
and will re-open at the new site on Monday 10May 2010.

Review of the Fachpack 2009
Hundreds of national and international customers came to see the Yamato product range at the FachPack in Nuernberg.
This important show featured the European Premiere of the new Yamato Alpha - Series.

In these new models the weighsensor is placed under the top cone for more efficiency and accuracy. The new springless buckets have rounded corners for easier cleaning to reduce the downtime of the machine.
With the new 14 head model ADW-514AWCC it is now possible to weigh frozen products.
Beside the new Alpha model, Yamato showed a multihead weigher for mixing applications and a checkweigher.

Yamato Service Department: New office hours
The Yamato Scale Service Department has new opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 6 pm and on Friday from 7 am to 5 pm (CET).
Yamato’s multihead weighers increase the productivity
The English salad specialist Hazeldene Foods, who has been growing continually year for year as a result of the ever-increasing trend towards a healthier diet, has a long history of Yamato multihead weighers.
Hazeldene produces a wide variety of salad leaf including spinach, watercress, rocket, mizuna and iceberg.
Ever since the most recently installed Yamato weigher - a high speed 14 head salad weigher - was commissioned, Ian Rosindale, Operations Director at Hazeldene, has reported an increase in productivity and a reduction on giveaway due to the ease of product flowing across the weigh head.

Hazeldene now has six Yamato multihead weighers that are specifically destined to weighing the different sorts of salad. In addition to the standard features, Yamato also delivered solutions for unique salad specification application parts.
Weighing, counting, mixing, controlling – Yamato always has the right application, even on an international level
Until now, the general consensus was that multihead weighers are really only designed for quick and exact weighing.
That is about to change! Yamato always provides cost-effective weighing solutions, be it for counting plastic fastenings, for mixing applications for convenience foods or for weighing potato chips at high speeds.
Yamato multihead weighers are capable of processing a whole new range of applications. One of Yamato’s 20-head multihead weighers, for example, was used to count plastic fastenings. The customer however also required that a mix of five different colors and sizes be created – no problem for Yamato. The target defined by the customer was easily met with great accuracy and speed.
Yamato also recently sold a multihead weigher to Africa to count lollipops before they were bagged. This assignment too was a challenge expertly mastered by Yamato.
For the rapidly expanding segment of convenience foods, Yamato was able to provide a solution for the weighing of pasta with vegetables and sauce with a required accuracy of +/- 1.0g and a target speed of 60 weighings per minute. To meet this challenge, Yamato opted for the use of a 16-head multihead weigher.
The multihead weighers are however not the only Yamato products to work with the utmost precision; the Yamato checkweighers also meet all customer requirements in terms of high accuracy.
